Delwyn Young is an American utility baseball player with 15 years of professional experience and 2 years of collegiate experience. Young has been a part of 10 championships teams, has a multitude of playoff experience and Winter ball seasons. He attended Riverside Community College (RCC) & Santa Barbra City college during his college career; where he was a part of back to back state championships. He was draft 3 times. Twice by the Atlanta braves 39th & 32nd rounds. Then was drafted out of Santa Barbra city by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 4th round. The hard hitting California native hits from both side of the plate, and has experience at all positions. His experience ranges from setting records at all minor league levels, making his debut with the Dodgers in ‘06-‘08, the gold medal USA team in 07’, Pittsburgh Pirates ‘09-‘10, Philadelphia Phillies ‘11, signed with the White Sox in ’12 and after an injury he went onto play in the Atlantic League, most recently with the Sugarland Land Skeeters 14’-16’. After winning the Atlantic League Championship he decided to retire in 2016. He and his wife Lacee along with dogs Lucy & Honey now reside in Houston.
Chuck McElroy was born on Sunday, October 1, 1967, in Port Arthur, Texas. McElroy was 21 years old when he broke into the big leagues on September 4, 1989, with the Philadelphia Phillies. He finished 5th in the 1991 Rookie of the Year voting. He played 13 years in the majors with 10 different teams. He played in 654 games and holds a lifetime ERA of 3.90. His Son, C.J. McElroy, is currently playing in the St. Louis Cardinals organization and trains here at Nine Innovations during the off season.
